Celebrating new beginnings: A ribbon-cutting to remember

This summer we embarked on a complete renovation of our headquarters in Milford, Ohio. The location in suburban Cincinnati is great but the building was dated. Six months later it felt like a long journey, but when we moved back in just before Thanksgiving we knew it was worth it. The new facility is a pleasure – a modern working environment that inspires productivity and collaboration with more windows, larger meeting spaces, stand-up desks, interior glass walls, a privacy booth and more all contributing to the modern ambiance.

To celebrate this milestone and unveil the renovated building, we held a ribbon-cutting and open house on December 6th. The day was filled with excitement, camaraderie, and a sense of accomplishment as local businesspeople joined in.

Uniting Community and Commerce

Gathering Festivities

The event began at noon with a lively gathering. Guests enjoyed food, conversation, and games, and were entered for a chance to win door prizes. Attendees represented a broad spectrum of supporters, including members and guests of the Milford Miami Chamber of Commerce, local business leaders, professionals involved in the renovation and financing, and employees and partners of Beneficial and Seidon.

A vibrant crowd filled the building and spilled into the parking lot, where food trucks provided tasty treats. The food trucks were a hit featuring JC’s Taco Truck with tacos, quesadillas, and crunchwraps and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee serving hot coffee and refreshing cold drinks. A special thank you to Patrick Ward of Benefit Planning Inc for sponsoring the food trucks.

Speeches and Ribbon-Cutting

The highlight of the event was the ribbon-cutting ceremony which brought everyone together inside the main entrance. Organized by the Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce with assistance from the Clermont County Chamber of Commerce, the ceremony featured:

  • An introduction by Andrea Brady of the Milford Miami Township Chamber of Commerce

  • Words of support and commendation from local leaders:

    • Andrew McAfee, Clermont County Chamber of Commerce

    • Lisa Hughes, Mayor of Milford

    • Claire Corcoran, Clermont County Commissioner

    • Jean Schmidt, Ohio House of Representatives

  • Remarks by Noah Berkheimer, president of Beneficial Talent Source and Seidon, expressing gratitude and excitement for the future.

The pair of scissors used that day have cut ribbons at hundreds of groundbreakings and openings through the years, adding a sense of tradition and continuity.

After the formalities, people enjoyed more tacos and coffee from the food trucks, played mini golf and darts, and mingled in a lively networking scene. Three door prizes were given away by random drawing – Ember Travel Mug 2’s with smart temperature control and Apple Find My built in, adding to the excitement. It was a great way to celebrate and connect, filled with laughter and good conversations!

We’ve experienced this process as more than just a physical transformation. It has highlighted the dedication, teamwork, and community support that drive our companies forward to provide excellent service to our clients. We’re enthusiastic about continuing our national impact while remaining rooted in the vibrant Milford community and positive business environment of the Cincinnati region.

Here’s to more milestones and continued success!
